And Xiaomi has to innovate on its software in my opinion. To my surprise, Xiaomi changed the setup and on paper, it looks like Xiaomi gimped with smaller lenses.
I couldn’t find any discernable differences in terms of MIUI 12 software on either device. I am liking that Google integration is getting better, icon credit shapes look like stock Android and annoying ads are quite limited in newer MIUI versions. Overall it is a well-built smartphone with no obvious flaws or design miscues.
